Our Programs
OUR MISSION
Through consistent group mentoring, Boys to Men Mentoring Network of Virginia creates a safe space
where boys learn to speak their truth and grow into accountable young men.
OUR VISION
We envision a future where boys grow into compassionate, accountable men whose integrity radiates
outward, to their families, their communities, and shapes the next generation.
OUR VALUES
Accountability
We practice restorative accountability; taking ownership of our choices, understanding how our
actions affect others, and making it right when we fall short.
Authenticity
We create spaces where boys and mentors can safely express the full range of human emotions, speak
their truth, and be real about who they are and what’s going on in their lives.
Consistency
We show up. Every week, every circle, every commitment. Our consistency is the foundation that
makes everything else possible.
Respect
We accept each other without judgment. In our circles, every voice matters, every experience is
valid, and every person is worthy of dignity.
Vulnerability as Strength
We believe it takes courage to be open. In our circles, showing emotion is not
weakness; it is the bravest thing a young man can do.
WHO WE SERVE
There are currently 58 active circles across 8 school districts in the Greater Richmond and Tri-Cities areas serving over 700 young men per week. We support young men ages 10-17, 5th grade until 12th grade.

For young adults, 18 and older, we hold a circle for support with the aim that they'll, too, become involved.
